SOA12 eliminates large spectrum of algae.
SOA12 is against for Chara, Filamentous and Planktonic ALGAE.

CONTAINS: LIGNIN (Extracted from Barley, Corn and Rice Straws), CORN SYRUP and Bacillus cereus

Lignin is a complex oxygen containing substance that, with cellulose, forms the chief constituent of wood.  In the presence of oxygen, the lignin is oxidized into humic acids and other humic substances.   It is known that when sunlight penetrates into water containing humic substances and dissolved oxygen, very small amounts of hydrogen peroxide are produced. Very low levels of hydrogen peroxide are known to prevent algae cells from reproducing and inhibit the growth of existing algae cells.
